KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo released a report today with his updated expectations on Apple's rumored wearable product. Kuo see's Apple releasing an iWatch with two different screen sizes -- 1.3-inches and 1.5-inches. Kuo also believes the iWatch will pack 8GB of internal storage with 512 MB of RAM.
While 8GB of internal storage and 512 MB of RAM seem low compared to iOS devices (which have 1GB of ram and 16GB storage), the specs are on the high-end for a smart watch. Some believe the iWatch could act independently from an iOS device, and Kuo's analysis falls in-line with that speculation.
Kuo is somewhat unsure about the casing for the device, but believes we will see 2-4 different types, with aluminum being the primary element used. He also sees the device will be rectangular in shape and feature 'holes' to measure vital signs such as heart rate.
