Apple Plans to Launch the First-Ever Public Beta Program for the iOS

Apple will start releasing public betas of iOS beginning with iOS 8.3 and eventually iOS 9.
The public betas are aimed at removing as many bugs as possible from iOS firmware updates before they get pushed to all devices. The beta firmware will be distributed through the AppleSeed program starting in mid-March, say sources. The first public beta should match the third beta of iOS 8.3 seeded to developers.
